Member Benefits

As a member of the Madison Area Chamber of Commerce, your business is entitled to many resources and benefits:

Small Business Development Center – The SBDC provides confidential, no-cost counseling to new and emerging businesses. Visit the SBDC website by clicking here

Venture Out Business Center – The Chamber’s business incubator is designed to house new, expanding or retrievably at risk businesses; the training facility is for small to large business functions. Since 2005, it includes a commercial kitchen, the Ohio River Valley Food Venture.

Contacts with Customers – Membership provides your business with networking opportunities including the monthly Business After Hours, the Annual Dinner and the Small Business Dinner.

Business Referrals – The Chamber’s policy is to refer members only to all requests for information.

News & Advertising – Members are invited to submit news briefs and/or paid advertising for publication in the monthly newsletter. Call (812) 265-3135, Ext. 225, for information.

Use of the Chamber's Bulk Mailing Permit - Save on direct mail campaigns. You can use the Chamber's permit to save 9 cents per piece the next time you do a mailing of more than 250 identical items.

Chamber's E-mail and Broadcast Fax Service - We can send your message free to hundreds of members. Send your message to lknoebel@madisonchamber.org

Professional Development –The Chamber offers members dozens of workshops and seminars each year.

Web Directory– The Chamber now offers an online member directory, with links to members' websites.

Good Cents Gift Certificate Program – In 2008, more than $70,000 worth of gift certificates were issued and redeemed at participating member businesses. Members are listed in the Good Cents brochure at no charge.
