The primary attraction is Madison's downtown historic district,
which features a rich array of historic homes and Festivals attract visitors nearly every weekend from spring to fall. Boating on the Ohio River is a popular pastime. For active recreation, visit Clifty Falls State Park, Big Oaks Wildlife Refuge or a municipal park in Madison or Hanover. Overnight accommodations range from ante-bellum grandeur to modern comfort.
